Equally close is the city centre with comprehensive shopping facilities, restaurants and entertainment venues in the form of the Theatre Royal, Plymouth Pavilions, Vue cinema complex and city centre. For those requiring access to the naval base H.M.S. Raleigh, this is  a mere  3 miles on a bus route.

Lamplighter is only minutes from the railway and coach stations and 850 yards from the ferry terminal. We have ensured that the 9 bedrooms are of the highest standard, with 7 rooms fully en-suite and 2 with private facilities.
